A plain-language rundown of the changes that went live over the past few weeks, and the one thing we pulled at the last minute.
This month was mostly about the parts of the product people use every day rather than anything headline-worthy.
The biggest change is that the main screen now loads in about a third of the time it used to. Nothing about it looks different, which is exactly the point — it was slow enough that people had started working around it, and those workarounds were quietly costing everyone a few minutes a day.
We also rewrote the setup flow. It used to ask for eight things up front; it now asks for two and fills in the rest as you go. Early numbers suggest far more people are finishing it.
One thing did not ship. We had a new export format ready, then found it produced the wrong totals for anyone working across two currencies. It is a small bug with a big blast radius, so it waits until next month.
